The evening of Aittatori will start with Joanne Shaw Taylor, one of the best blues-guitar players of the genre. Unlike her angel faced appearance would make you think, the show isn't about sweetness-only, but wild guitar-work.

Taylor's music has been influenced by Jimi Hendrix and Stevie Ray Vaughan, but nevertheless, strongly includes her own personal style and character.

Ladies and gentlemen! We want to present one of the world's leading singing bands: The Real Group, from the other side of the Gulf of Bothnia. Their skillful presentation has made them famous all over the world. The personal style of The Real Group has been born of Jazz music, with a suitable amount of folk music and Pop. The band's success has led to the release of many albums, alongside with concert tours and TV-programmes.

Behind the Tonight at Noon's hardbop and gospel influenced soulful melodies is Charles Mingus from the United States of America. The music is diverse and challenging, and probably just because of that hearing it as a live performance is somewhat more rare. The challenge has been accepted by Finland's swinging and foremost Jazz professionals. Expect dazzling solos, collective improvisation and the gospel of Swing!

Jukka Eskola Quintet is a convincing bundle of Jazz music! It is run by one the most promising instrumentalists of his generation: Jukka Eskola, who has recently been seen everywhere where finnish Jazz has taken succesful leaps. The rich music of this band will bring you back to the 1970's, the golden age of funk-jazz, even though their music is strongly considered as modern by it's make.

Kahden Miehen Galaksi is a dynamic duo, whose simple mission is to conquer the world. Cantor Kanttonen and his assistant, the Drum beating guenon drill, saw, nail and weld until even the final Jazz-police turns over their gun and badge!

NIEMINEN & LITMANEN

The inspiration for this duo was given by the Swedish Hansson & Karlsson. The idea was a simple one: "If they can do it, why couldn't we do the same?" Genre of this band is hard to fit into any regular categories. However The defining characteristic is the sound, that is born out of Hammond Organ and Gretsch drums. The ingredients of this soup are: Groove, psychedelic, jazz-melody, boogaloo and even rock.
